First league game of the season. An impressive display against the big Whitley lads but unable to keep up with their long stride and reach. Final score 9-4 to Whitley but all the team contributed to competitive game. Spirit of the Game award went to Adam Jackson.

What a fantastic game to watch. Despite the home team being awarded an 8-0 win, both teams played their legs off in an end to end game that ended in a 5-5 draw, a fair result 'cos neither team deserved to lose. Great start to the season, shame there are so few teams in this league that the Rats can play!!!

It seems to me that this website could be a good point of contact for the junior teams; however, the lack of updating means that it will probably not be used. I think this is a shame, as other teams appear to be able to run updated websites for their juniors and I was wondering why we couldn't do the same?

I was thinking along the lines of the site being a little more dynamic and interactive, as a place for getting the latest news about what the teams are doing, player profiles, upcoming games, match reviews, etc.  I don't know how difficult this would be to do, but if a non-specialist programmer/webmaster could do it, I wouldn't mind giving it a go.

Beat them!!!!!!

What an awesome display of hockey. Kept at them, never let them get into their stride and scored more against them than any other team this season!!
